There is a number of things that you can help out with our project.
What to expect
The host family will provide information and guidlines on how to move around. There are malls around where you can buy both african and western clothes. There are restaurants where you can get western and african meals. Movie theatre is also available.
You can use matatu's,motorbikes and also tuk tuks. These are mostly used by locals here in kisumu.

What to donate
There is a number of things that you can help out with our project.
- Assist with mentoring the children through discussion groups. We encourage group discussion as this is an opportunity for them to open up to us.
- Offering guidance and counselling services.
- Organising variety of sport activities for the children and cordinating them. We are planning on having sport activities every afternoon.
- Offering swimming lessons.
- Educating them with life skills to enable them tackle life challenges.
What to expect
- You will be placed with a host family kenneth and Sheilla in their home. They live with their daughter.
- You'll be pickep from the airport or bus station.
- You'll work for 3-4 hrs a day on week days and once in a while a few hours on saturday.
- Meals will be provided by the host family and special attention to those with dietery requirement. Mainly it will be african meals. You can feel free to participate too.
- There is clean water available.
- The volunteer will not only help children but also learn kenyan culture.

- We ask volunteers $200 for a week which includes two meals,accomodation and pickup from airport.
- You'll cater for your own transport,pocket money,simcard,extra meals eaten from restaurants. Approximately $50 will be enough for a week.

- Crying stone in kakamega county
- Tea plantation in kericho county.
